Oriflame Optimals Even Out Day Cream

The cream comes in a heavy glass jar that is broad at the base and narrower at the mouth. But the mouth is wide enough to pick up product easily without having to dig deep into the tub. Also, the tub is quite shallow. It has a plastic screw cap and is hence very travel friendly. It is pure white in color and has a slightly whipped, gel-crème consistency. It has an exotic floral fragrance. Those with dry skin will adore how moisturizing this is and you could probably skip both moisturizer as well as sunscreen since this has SPF 20. It is lightweight and spreads easily.

Today I am going to review the new makeup range from Oriflame- The One. I have some products with me. 

The products sent to me by the brand were the Oriflame

 ‘The One’ Eyeliner Stylo, 

Volume Blast Mascara, 

Illuskin Concealer and 

Foundations. 

Price: Rs. 799 for 30mL each.

The foundations have a silky texture and are easy to blend on the skin. I love how these give medium coverage and a dewy, lit-from-within finish. However, the shades sent to me- Olive Beige and Natural Beige- which are also the medium of the shades launched - are way too good for my medium skintone,  

The packaging is travel friendly, with a pump-dispenser and a cap to see you through travel.

Recommended for very fair to fair skin tones, with normal skin.

Oriflame The One Illuskin concealer

Price: Rs. 349 for 10mL.

Packaged in a squeeze tube with a nozzle (forgot to take a pic), the concealer has a creamy consistency. It is easy to blend into the skin, and offers medium coverage. The shade Nude Beige is good for me . I can use this concealer to cover any blemishes and under-eye dark circles.I have been using this shade in a triangular area under the eyes (not directly over the dark circles)  to brighten and illuminate that area. This way, my skin looks more ‘awake’ and rested. 

Oriflame 'The One' Eyeliner Stylo- Black

Price: Rs. 499 for 0.8mL

The liquid eyeliner has a felt-tip packaging, and the applicator is firm enough to glide on the eyes and ease application. I get a smooth line with this product, and the swatch is quite black on application. It dries quickly upon application. It is waterproof.

Oriflame 'The One' Volume Blast Mascara

Price: Rs. 529 for 8mL

The Volume Blast Mascara comes in a mauve-pink packaging. The applicator is rounded, with short bristles for application. It offers decent lengthening on application, with remarkable volume on me. It is  waterproof. Best used on an everyday basis, for work mostly.

Overall, I am  quite impressed with the Oriflame ‘The One’ range of products. The shades on offer are too good for the Indian skintones, and the eyeliner and mascara also do  deliver as much as they could have. Also, you can only buy these through Oriflame represtatives.

ORIFLAME THE ONE COLOUR UNLIMITED LIPSTICK REVIEW AND SWATCHES

Happy Summers my beauties! I received some seasons greetings from Oriflame sometime back and I absolutely love the little gift they sent across. The One unlimited lipsticks from Oriflame have bowled me over completely. Here's my review of these lipsticks and some reasons as to why you should own more than one colour from The One range in your makeup box :)

The One colour unlimited lipsticks are butter lip sticks that not only stain the lips with rich colour but will moisturize it at the same time. It is a light weight texture lipstick with a blend of oils. Claims upto 10-12 hours stay with supreme sleek packaging

#1 Violet Extreme: My go to winter shade. Compliments the Indian skin tone to the T.

#2 Pink Unlimited: I love this pink colour on my skin. Compliments any outfit at any time. 

#3 Absolute Blush: This is a gorgeous shade for a lighter skin tone more than a medium tone. 

#4 Mocha Intensity: For earthy tone loves and rustic shade hoarders, this may just be the right shade.

What Works: With a super sleek packaging, these lipsticks are perfect for daily use. These lipsticks will keep your lips moisturized for long hours even in this chilling cold weather. I don't find my lips getting dried at all. Infact, I feel it hydrates the lip with a hint of a colour, rich colour in this case. As far as staying power is concerned, even after few cups of coffee consumption, I didn't need to re-touch the lips! As soon as you apply the lipstick it feels really buttery on the lips and then after sometime it gives you a perfect look of a matte lipstick. (The creaminess remains intact though). You have to apply at least two coats to get rich colour. The pricing is nicely done too and I absolutely think that these lipsticks are worth the investment. There are a total of 8 shades to choose from. I haven't used Orilflame lipsticks in the past but with The One range, they have earned a loyalist in me! 

What Doesn't Work: The lipstick covers don't have shade names mentioned on it thus making it a little task top open the cover and look up on the shade. Also a colour code is absent that makes it little tough to imagine the true shade colour.

A misnomer though, this is a lovely lipstick. A neon-like peach pink, the Triple Core lipstick also has a built-in moisturizer, making sure your lips stay hydrated while you flaunt the shade. The texture veers towards waxy and the pigmentation is pretty decent.

5. Oriflame Soft Coral

One of the prettiest packages ever, the Oriflame Soft Coral Lipstick in Cherry Garden is a very soft pink that goes sheer on the lips on the first swipe. It glides easily on the lips and doesn’t bleed, thanks to its consistency. The color stays put for a good amount of time and fades into a stain.

6. Oriflame Voilet Extreme The one unlimited range

Violet Extreme is a purple pink color that is subtle and perfectly made for those of you that prefer soft colors. It glides like butter on the lips and doesn’t tug. Perfect choice for office going ladies. It has a decent staying power of 10-12 hours. This makes it a good choice as an everyday lipstick.It is recently launched by oriflame India and one of the best sellers.

It’s perfect finish in just one glide and make your lips look perfect red, so it contains glossy finish just the way you’ll love it to. It’s not over the top and will stay put for a good amount of time and packaging is also smart and different

9. Oriflame Power Shine Lipstick in Red Ovation:

Yet another red lipstick, the Red Ovation is a color that will go subtle on the lips too. It’s from the Power Shine range, so it contains shimmers just the way you’ll love it to. It’s not over the top and will stay put for a good amount of time.

10. Oriflame Studio Artist Lipstick in Illuma Flair:

One of my favorite lipsticks of all time, Illuma Flair is a bright pink that will add glow to the face. It doesn’t have any shimmer and stays for long. It glides easily on the lips. There’s no bleeding but just fading into lip balm stain.

11. Oriflame Giordani Gold Lipstick in :

This is a Dusky nude that looks brown in the tube and goes  nude on the lips. It has very minute micro shimmer in it. This one is super sheer, so you’ll need more than a couple of swipes to get some good color.
